While most people aren't willing to spend very much money on their health when they are well or doing OK, they end up paying (more) on the back end when their health suffers. Sometimes I think I might spend too much on the various vitamins and herbs that I take but when I stop and realize that not only am I saving on doctor's bills (I've not had a cold or flu in probably 20 years) but I've been reaping the rewards of feeling well and not damaging my organs by taking medications that have various side effects plus conflicts of drug interactions. I once had a friend who said "Growing old is not for the meek!" My response - "That's why I'm fighting it every tooth and nail!!" I work out regularly doing a variety of routines and take my vitamins and drink lots of water. I went to pick up a few refills for my neighbors and got the shock of my life - it was over $500 for a few refills, just a few of their many prescriptions! People say they "wish" they could loose weight.....what they need is "backbone" - not "wishbone". Wishing something isn't going to make it happen - you've GOT to take a step in the right direction and keep putting one foot in front of the other and do what ever you can - ANYTHING is better than NOTHING! And it's NEVER to late to start!
